This is an editorial teaser piece I created to run on surfermag.com to promote a coffeetable book published in conjunction with Tehabi Books. It features some great old photography of Duke Kahanamoku. I took advantage of the aged quality of the imagery and made it very large and imposing. The image then took on a life of its own and created the right atmosphere for the piece. See the sample design here.
